A mini-vacation, immediately followed by two days back at work, has meant that my play time has been completely non-existent. A disappointment* in light of the new patch and the opportunity to keep up with friends on other servers and in a different faction with the new RealID option, something I’m very much looking forward to trying out. I was skeptical at first, thinking back to the ingame voice chat which never really took off, but I’ve heard only good things thus far about it’s implementation**.

In the meantime though, I’m living vicariously through Cataclysm Screenshots.

* Clarification: the mini-vacation was not a disappointment; sorry honey!
** Good things until the announcement Blizzard intended to force the use of RealID on it’s forums, something they have backed out of.

Our raid group is starting to get back in to the swing of things after a forced schedule change and losing a couple of raiders - one who couldn’t make the new nights, one who is breaking until Cataclysm and another who got hacked and hasn’t been seen for a month.

It’s trial and error, finding someone who’ll fit - ideally, we’d like to get the same people each week instead of picking up pug members (no, we can’t fill it out from our small, casual, family-oriented guild as our raids are generally too late at night) but finding trustworthy folks who aren’t complete tools isn’t that easy it seems.

Anyway - tonight, we are back in ICC.  And I’m healing as usual.  Well, kind of. Mostly, I’m blogging.
